I have only taken one newborn baby’s portrait when they were younger than Leo and that was my own! We had to schedule these newborn portraits when he was just 4 days old between me going out of town for destination weddings. I’m so glad we made it happen. Leo was a rock star for his portrait session. He pretty much slept through the entire session and then gave us the gift of opening his eyes for a few shots towards the end of his session. It doesn’t get much better than that! Maybe I need to start scheduling all newborn sessions to take place at this magic age…
