Alice in Wonderland Wedding at the Grove | Reno Wedding Photography

Alex and Kim were married a few months ago in Vietnam but wanted to have a reception with their friends and family who weren’t able to make the trip with them. They asked me to photograph their Alice in Wonderland themed wedding reception at The Grove and take formal portraits. What a fun day it was! You’ll see from these photographs that these two like to have a fun time, and planned a party that all their guests would enjoy.

The details of this wedding were amazing. The Alice in Wonderland theme was carried out in every possible way you can imagine. Chrissy at Quality Event Design knocked it out of the park! Here are some of my favorite photographs from the day!

All of the brooch bouquets were from Ruby Blooms on Etsy. The details to tie in the Alice in Wonderland theme were amazing!

Kim and her bridesmaids all wore these Mad Hatter hats from ChikiBird on Etsy. I loved them!

And the shoes came from BecciBoos Custom Shoes on Etsy. Everything was Alice in Wonderland themed!!!

I love Alex’s reaction to seeing Kim in her wedding dress. Kim had worn a traditional Vietnamese dress for their ceremony, and this was the first time he saw her in this dress from the Alfred Angelo’s Disney Collection.

These two just laughed and laughed!

We stole a quick moment during family portraits to take one shot at The Grove with the crystal chandeliers and the floral backdrop made by Quality Event Design. I love the light coming in!

And just to show how much fun these two are-here they are taking a dance break during family portraits. That’s a first. Love them!
