Where do I begin? There are so many things that I loved about this wedding! To start, Erik and Heather are the most awesome couple. I mean. . . I spent eight straight hours with them on their day and they were so fun to be around and easy to photograph! I absolutely LOVED their wedding attire. Heather got her dress at Swoon and it was in one word, perfection. And Erik’s classic tux with the suspenders and black bow tie…I love this look. I honestly don’t understand why a tux with a vest and tie are more popular. I don’t think you can beat the classic black bow tie!
I was delighted to photograph up at Heavenly. I had never photographed a wedding their before so it was fun to be in a new, different location. The view was…heavenly! What a great spot to have a wedding, especially when you have guests coming in from out of town to get the best view of Lake Tahoe. On a completely different note, I have to share my new favorite caterer. The Cork and More made cupcakes for Erik and Heather’s wedding and they were without a doubt the best I have ever tasted (and I’ve had a lot of cupcakes and wedding cake in the last 5 years or so!)
