Matt and Katey had a beautiful garden wedding at Idlewild Park this past month. Their close family and friends gathered together on a warm October day with the leaves just starting to change colors. The day could not have been more perfect. Matt and Katey were a delight to photograph and I enjoyed every second of their day!
A little blue Tiffany’s box from your groom is always a good way to start off your wedding day!
I loved this moment when Katey was getting her dress on . . .
I had a few moments to take a couple portraits before we headed over to Idlewild Park . . .
There were so many special touches throughout the wedding day. One was this heirloom necklace that Katey’s grandmother wore when she got married. It has been passed around the family from wedding to wedding. This was Katey’s turn to wear it for her special day!
A beautiful setting for a garden wedding at Idlewild Park in Reno . . .
These three were so adorable. They took their jobs pretty seriously!
Here comes the bride . . .
I love this one. They are so elated to be husband and wife!
After the ceremony, we had some time to take a few portraits before the wedding reception at Idlewild Park . . .
The light was dreamy!
I loved all the details at the reception. I’ve seen a lot of different things photographing weddings over the years, but I saw a few new things at the California Building . . .
Matt and Katey were ready to get the party started at the reception at the California Building . . .
. . . but first they had a wonderful choreographed First Dance.
Do Well Events did such a great job at getting people on the dance floor!
And one last image to leave you with. This one makes me chuckle just a little bit.
