Lakeside Ranch Wedding | Reno Wedding Photographer

I have been looking forward to Tom and Annie’s wedding at Lakeside Ranch since I took their engagement pictures last fall.  I just knew it was going to be a day full of laughter and LOVE.  I was slightly bummed out when I kept checking on the weather the week leading up to their day. (I have become an avid weather channel watcher since I started photographing weddings almost 10 years ago!)  I wanted these two to have a sunny, gorgeous day with beautiful light that added warmness to the photographs.   I wasn’t disappointed!  We had sunshine…but we also had rain!  And not surprisingly, Tom and Annie rolled with it for me.  We got pictures in the sun.  We took some moody pictures with the dark clouds.  Annie even spontaneously started twirling around with her matrons of honor in the rain.  My heart skipped a beat.  Oh, and there was a sunset…that turned out to be purple!

I could not have dreamed up a more perfect day with the most perfect couple that was just a treat to photograph.  Tom and Annie-I loved photographing every minute of your day and I hope these photographs will always remind you how wonderful your wedding day was with your family and closest friends.  May it only get better from here!

The day started out with some getting ready shots and photographing a few of the details…

I just loved the excitement in the room when Annie put on her dress.  Perfection!

A quiet moment before walking down the aisle.

Loved all the signage…

I love it when a couple writes their own vows!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Saxton!

Then onto some portraits of the bride and groom-my favorite part of a wedding day.

Is it just me or does Annie totally look like Jessica Simpson?

How awesome is this alcohol sign?  It made me laugh.

There were many toasts, but I especially loved the one’s given by Tom and Annie’s parents.

Aren’t they great?  I’m telling you, they exude fun and romance!

This is when the sky turned really moody, so we took some pictures by this cool tree.

Next it started raining and this happened!

Followed by a purple sunset!

And then it rained some more.  I love seeing the rain in this image.  It didn’t stop this crowd from showing their moves on the dance floor!
