I had the pleasure of photographing Jake and Brittany’s mountain wedding at Tannenbaum Event Center on Father’s Day. They had a small wedding with their close friends and family who came to Lake Tahoe from the midwest. Here are some favorite photographs from their wedding at Tannenbaum Event Center.
The day started at with some getting ready shots at the Peppermill Resort where the Brittany got ready with her bridesmaids. Her dad had the video camera rolling throughout the morning!
After they got ready, we headed up to Lake Tahoe to take portraits. Taking pictures with views of the lake was really important to these two. However, we didn’t have much time to drive all the way down into Lake Tahoe prior to the ceremony, so we took some pictures from above with Lake Tahoe in the distance. It was really windy and almost 100 degrees. These two were troopers! Even with cars buzzing by on the highway and giving a congratulatory honk from the car!
The flowers were created by Petal to the Metal. They always do such a fantastic job!
I imagine walking your daughter down the aisle makes for a VERY memorable Father’s Day!
Isn’t the view from Tannenbaum Event Center down into the valley simply divine?!
After the ceremony, we took a few more portraits near Tannenbaum Event Center.

One of the hardest parts of my job is photographing such delicious looking desserts and not being able to dig in! Cupcakes by Delicious Designs.
Check out this spread! Yum!
I learned a lot about Jake and Brittany during the toasts. There was a lot of laughter!
The first dance..
And then the party started shortly after!
Jake and Brittany, thank you for letting me play a small part of your BIG day! It was an absolute pleasure photographing the two of you and I wish you both the very best!
