West Shore Cafe Wedding Photography | Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer

Aaron and Megan were married at the West Shore Cafe in Lake Tahoe on the 6th anniversary of their very first date.  Although they are both from the West Coast, they met at a bar in the Meat Packing District in New York City!  He was working in New York at the time and she was attending law school at NYU.  Aaron was giving away candy as part of his job and offered her a piece.  She took some and the rest is history!  Now six years later, these two are living across the pond near Notting Hill in England, but chose to come back home to get married at the West Shore Cafe in Lake Tahoe.  It was the perfect place for them to get married and for their friends and family to celebrate with them from all over the world.

We started the day off getting some detail shots and pictures of the girls getting ready at the West Shore Cafe.  Megan’s dress was exquisite.  It was a MZ2 gown by Mark Zunino for Kleinfeld she got in New York . . .

I love that Megan chose to wear Jimmy Choo‘s since she has become a Londoner!

I love the colors and the different shapes of the flowers in Megan’s bouquet by Blake’s Floral Design.  It smelled amazing too!

After Megan was finished getting dressed, we headed outside to take some pictures by the dock at the West Shore Cafe . . .

Megan’s bridal party consisted of her sisters, her soon to be sister-in-laws, and her friends from her undergraduate days at Penn.  I loved all the different metallic colors of their dresses.  They came together great!

Aaron had some pretty sweet details of his own including these awesome cuff links!

Then it was his turn to be in front of the camera for a few portraits of him and his groomsmen . . .

Then it was time for the ceremony to begin on the lawn at the West Shore Cafe.  The guests got to enjoy this spectacular view during the ceremony and reception of Lake Tahoe . . .

I had some competition in the photography department!

I love this one of Megan taking Aaron’s arm after she walked towards him down the aisle . . .

Aaron and Megan chose to write their own vows which were moving and deeply personal to the two of them . . .

They did it!

After the ceremony, we took a few portraits of Aaron and Megan near the dock  at the West Shore Cafe with Lake Tahoe as a backdrop . . .

We also took a few inside for a different feel.  These are perhaps my favorite!

Blake’s Floral Design did such a wonderful job with the flowers and design.  I loved the centerpieces in wooden flower boxes.  The tables were all designated by the places Aaron and Megan have lived.  It was fun to see where all these different places were on their road to living in London.  Oh the Places You’ll Go!

Some of my favorite photos of these two were during their Grand Entrance into the reception along the deck at the West Shore Cafe . . .

The toasts were funny, emotional, and touching in every way . . .

After the dinner and toasts were finished, everyone headed indoors at the West Shore Cafe to watch Aaron and Megan’s first dance as husband and wife . . .

After a few special dances and cutting the cake, everyone made their way to the dance floor and enjoyed the rest of the night . . .
