I so enjoyed getting to photograph Blake and Maggie’s engagement session along the east shore of Lake Tahoe in August. They came up from San Francisco to take pictures in the same place that they got engaged, making it the perfect location to take engagement portraits at Lake Tahoe. Although the sky was hazy from the smoke of wild fires, it gave us a beautiful sunset and I had a fun time taking their pictures!
We started the session off in a hammock, because I can’t walk by a one and not use it for pictures. They are my favorite!
The sun was out and really bright when we started. I loved the light on Maggie’s face . . .
The sun kept coming in and out between the clouds in the sky. I loved this one with the light coming through . . .

These two were fun and laughed a lot!
The sunset was beautiful. I especially loved the orange glow on the sand and wished it would have lasted longer to take even more pictures with such a great sky!
